TAG is seeking home based Verizon FiOS Technical Support Service Representative who will be interacting with customers and representatives from other lines of business to handle a variety of functions.

This position is a work from home position; however applicants must live within driving distance from their North Fort Lauderdale facility because 6 weeks of training will be held on site.

Representatives will provide assistance, perform account research, trouble shoot connectivity issues, assist with email issues, and answer questions regarding Speeds. Other questions and inquiries might arise also and representatives must be able to solve multiple complex issues as well as possibly make account changes requested by telephone, chat, email or a ticketing system. The position is a full time position.

Required Skills

Must have a Clean & Quiet room.

Must own a PC

Must own a 17″ or larger monitor that supports a minimum resolution of 1024X768 or higher. (NO Laptop monitors, must be a separate monitor that can be connected to a company supplied minicomputer)

High-speed Internet connection via DSL, FiOS or Cable (Wireless is NOT accepted). You must have an open Ethernet port available, a router is preferred. Your internet connection must be of such quality to support a stable VPN connection. Minimum 3mb downstream/350k upstream required – You may be requested to perform & submit a speed test printout.

Phone line dedicated for work during shift hours, this line will be off the hook during your entire shift. The only VoIP providers accepted is Comcast, ATT or Verizon. (Vonage, Magic Jack or similar devices will not be accepted)

Voicemail & Call Waiting must be disabled by your phone provider.

Must live within driving distance to North Lauderdale, FL

At least one year of customer service experience

Strong problem solving skills with customer focus and effective communication

Must be able to work a 40 hour weekly schedule

Compensation

New Hires will be paid at $9.50 per hour; once you complete the Training process you will then have the potential to make an extra $2 per hour every week based on performance. The Company will provide the necessary equipment to work at home except for the items listed under Position Requirements

Shift Information

5 day work week- shift begins at 9am-1p break for 5 hours and start again from 6p-10p. One weekend day is involved
